About

Liisa Hunter is a Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher, Usui Reiki Master and executive coach with more than 20 years of experience in high-performance business environments.

She spent her career in Silicon Valley and New York, holding leadership and client-facing roles at Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Snap, where she partnered with global brands and marketing executives to drive growth, build strategic partnerships, and lead high-performing teams.

After two decades in the fast-paced world of technology and enterprise sales, Liisa began exploring a different dimension of performance: how we sustain success without sacrificing our well-being.

She stepped away from corporate life in 2023 to focus on her children and study digital wellness, psychology, mindfulness, Tibetan Buddhism, sleep, consciousness, and compassion through Stanford Continuing Studies. She also volunteered with ScreenSense and KidsInRealLife Marin, supporting healthier relationships with technology.

Today, Liisa combines her experience in high-performance environments with meditation, mindfulness, nervous-system practices, and Usui Reiki to help busy athletes, executives, and mothers feel calmer, more focused, and more present.

Her approach is grounded, practical, and accessible.

No crystals required. No spiritual experience necessary.

My goal isn't to help you become someone different. It's to help you feel more like yourself—clearer, calmer, and more present.

Perspective

I’ve been fortunate to work with outstanding coaches throughout my career, who taught me that perspective and a growth mindset are essential to both joy and success. My coaching approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and action. I help clients build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and lead with compassion and connection.

Outside of my professional life, I’ve been an endurance cyclist, skier, and competitive sailor while raising a family. Along the way, I experienced severe burnout, postpartum depression, injuries, and concussions—experiences that taught me the importance of recovery not just physically, but emotionally and through the nervous system.

Throughout it all, I maintained a meditation practice and was fortunate to learn from teachers, coaches, and healing practitioners who helped me understand the powerful connection between the mind, body, and nervous system.

As a Usui Reiki Master, I also incorporate hands-on or hands-near energy healing, using gentle touch or placing my hands just above the body to support deep relaxation, calm, and a greater sense of balance.

Raised in England and Finland, I moved to California during middle school—an experience that shaped my adaptability and respect for culture . I hold a B.A. in Communication from UC Santa Barbara, completed The Tuck Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth, received my Usui Reiki Master Certification, and continue to study through Stanford’s Continuing Studies program.
